PureField Ingredients

PureField Ingredients

Plant-protein knowledge sharing and technology advancements are critical to our planet - for improving sustainability and advancing human and pet / animal nutrition. The ability to participate in a consortium like the PPIC will be invaluable to PureField Ingredients to accelerate our developments and to the food industry as a whole.

Sustainability and decarbonization are central to PureField’s DNA and at the core of our production process. Our Food Ingredients Facility processes use highly efficient technology that minimizes our electricity and natural gas consumption. Third-party assessment suggests PureField’s Gluten has ~15-25% lower carbon intensity than industry benchmarks. 100% of the wheat starch slurry generated from our gluten manufacturing process is repurposed into high-value by-products, including ethanol with one of the lowest Carbon Intensity (CI) ratings as awarded by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Our operations have been optimized to lower water intensity through plant efficiency improvements, water reuse, and responsible water management practices, achieving a 24% reduction in water intensity over the last 2 years.
